Dr. Karimisetty Sujatha is working as Professor & Head in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. She was awarded PhD in 2016 in area of Information Security under guidance of Dr. P.V. Nageswara Rao from GITAM University. Prior to this she has done M.Tech in CSE and AMIE in Computer Engineering. She is highly energetic and passionate towards teaching, research and have gained technical skills by working in reputed organizations. She always plan to work in direction with special focus on research orientation activities, writing and publishing papers in reputed journals and international conferences. She has developed an Innovation & Entrepreneurship ecosystem in the institute based on projects, innovative ideas and prototypes developed for undergraduate and postgraduate Students. Two research scholars are working under her guidance and has been guiding numerous M.Tech Thesis for past ten years. She is ratified as Professor by JNTUK from Dadi Institute of Engineering & Technology and earlier worked with reputed organizations like Vignan�??s Institute of Information Technology, Lendi Institute of Information Technology, Miracle Educational Society Group of Institutions and NSRIT. She has published 71 papers in Springer and other reputed International and National Journals, Springer Book Chapters and IEEE Conferences. She had filed three patents which are published and one design is granted. She has reviewed 100+ papers for Springer Journals and Springer & IEEE Conferences and has received much recognition for reviewing and being Chair of International Conferences. She has ave received Best Researcher Award and Best Teacher Award from Institute of Scholars. She holds professional membership of ACM, CSI, Institute of Engineers, ISTE, AMTI, InSc for past many years. She is the Innovation Ambassador by completing advanced training from Institution Innovation Council, A MoE initiative, AICTE. She is the convener for Institution Innovation Council for which DIET institute has received 4 star rating in consecutive academic years and Performer band in ARIIA in 2020-21 and 150-300 band in NIRF-INNOVATIONS in 2021-2022. She has received best teacher award in 2023 and best researcher award in 2022 on the eve of Teacher’s Day Celebrations at Dadi Institute of Engineering & Technology.
