Description
In the past decade, there hasbeen a tremendous progress to develop scientific temperament and technical skill in plant and microbial research advances in young researchers for translational research from lab to land and to hand of human. At the same time Agriculture and food sectors desperately needed biological advancement of technology to the health of man and environment. Sound knowledge on the role of microbiome and molecular physiology on agriculture and biomedical research is key to understand and combat researchers, scientists and farmers as stake holders. The potential applications of plant and microbial products such as biomaterial and biomolecules in agriculture and medicine seem boundless. Basic understanding of the concept coupled to practical application may help to gain the goal of translating the discoveries from the lab to land Research has been gained progress in understanding the role of environmental conditions to shape agricultural crops. Identification of such switches should provide a platform for developing a new generation of plant varieties in which beneficial plant-microbe interactions can be made more resilient, and more vulnerable to a warming and harsher climate. Micro-biome interaction is a promising area of research for making crop plants more resilient to both abiotic and biotic stresses. The prime aim and objective of this book is to highlight the current research technologies and aptly titled in order to enlighten the young researchers to achieve the goal of real translational research for the security of global food and livelihood. This book comprised 33 chapters mainly focused to introduce the students into the field of research and researchers to develop futuristic research trends in relevance to India.I am hopeful that this book shall certainly give strength to on-going research that will lead to the development of user friendly technologies to achieve pollution free sustainable environment .Chapters were written by different experts from India and I compliment the authors and hope the teachers and researchers working in this area will make use of this publication. It has been immense pleasure to edit the book. We wish to thank Dr V. Tulasi bai, Sd. Kousar and V. Krishnaveni, research scholars of Department of Microbiology, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur for their technical assistance in editing the book.
