Prof. T.D. Vimala is presently working as Honorary Professor in the Department of Psychology, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. She retired as Principal in Govt. PG Degree College, Kothagudem. She had 35 years of Psychology teaching experience in various Govt. Degree colleges. She was a Former UG Psychology Board of Studies Chairman and presently PG Psychology BOS Member, Acharya Nagarjuna University & Vignan University. She was the recipient of �?? AP Best Teacher Award�?? in 2007. She also received �?? Savithri Bai Phulae�?? by Hindu College, Guntur. And �??Change Maker Award �?? Academia�?? by Indian Education form in 2024. Presently she is acting as an �??Academic Counsellor�?? IGNOU, for M.A (Psychology) and M.Sc (MCFT) Courses. She is also an evaluator for all Theory Papers, Practical�??s and Projects of above courses. She organized 3 UGC National Seminars and Completed 2 UGC Minor Research Projects. Resource person to UGC Capacity Building workshops of Women managers in Higher Education. She presented papers in more than 30 UGC National Seminars and 5 International Seminars. She acted as a Resource person for 38 Webinars organized by various colleges and Universities during Covid time i.e. in 2020 and 2021. Resource person to District training Centre Guntur (HRD); and Navodaya Leadership training institute. Author of 4 Telugu Academy Text Books and 3 ANU Distance Education Books. Regular Speaker to many Degree Colleges, Engineering Colleges, and Management colleges of Guntur.

It is with great pleasure, we present this volume entitled Enhancing Psychological Capital : A Shift from Stress, Anxiety and Depression which bring together the contribution from the conference. Managing stress, anxiety, and depression:- To Enhance Psychological Capital held on 6th & 7th February 2025 in the Department of Psychology, Acharya Nagarjuna University. This Conference provided a dynamic forum for scholars, practitioners and researchers to engage in discussions on Stress, Anxiety and Depression and the Psychological Capital, the emerging topic of the day, reflecting the latest developments and innovations of the fields. They addressed the traid, Stress, Anxiety and Depression from different angles and explained various strategies to manage them. Further the concept of Psychological Capital was described in depth and the methods to develop, the impact it has on different spheres of life was well reflected by various authors. In this volume the need and the importance of psychological capital in the global world for human wellbeing is brought in a well-organized and scientific way by the authors.
